Beyond the numbers, this is about unleashing the power of our people and utilizing their unique talents, experiences, and backgrounds to create an engaging work environment and world-class operation.

Every Monday for the next 3 weeks, we will feature a female leader from the Penske organization who is empowering women in the automotive industry and paving the road for the next generation of female leaders. From their earliest interest in the industry to their proudest moments, you’ll learn how these women got their start, who influenced them the most, and how they are helping change the face of the industry in positive ways. Check back next week as we add another Featured Female Leader to the series.

Featured Female Leader: Jacinth Samuels – Finance Manager

“Be confident in everything you do, never doubt yourself, and go for it.”

Jacinth Samuels has been with Penske Automotive Group for 15 years and currently serves as a Finance Manager. In this role, Jacinth offers financing and insurance to customers and provides thorough explanations of aftermarket products, extended warranties, and dealership service procedures and policies. Jacinth says being an F&I manager is satisfying in many ways but the most rewarding part of her job is the “customer interaction and the upsell of products.” When asked who has had the biggest influence on her career, her husband comes to mind. “He had a really big influence on my career and encouraged me to follow in his footsteps.”

Completing NADA school in 2018 has been one of Jacinth’s proudest achievements.

Jacinth’s advice to women considering a career in the auto industry: “Don’t be intimidated, go for it and trust yourself.” Jacinth believes the automotive industry has evolved to engage more women. “I have seen women gain more ground in what was once a male-dominated industry. Women have more spending power now, which has changed how we are perceived. When asked where she sees herself in five years, Jacinth says she hopes to continue to grow within the Penske organization.

When Jacinth has free time on the weekends, she enjoys family time and hanging out with her girlfriends.
