It is the most wonderful time of the year and the perfect time to give back to those who need it. This year, Penske Automotive Group dealerships across the country participated in food drives, clothing drives, toy drives, and more, as part of an effort to give back to their local communities and add a little joy to the holiday celebrations of those less fortunate.
This year, the Penske Automotive Group dealerships in Arizona impacted their communities by collecting toys for the Toys for Tots Foundations to donate to local children who are in need. Toys for Tots Foundation seeks to promote the maturity and growth of youth who may not get gifts by providing them with a message of hope through a toy during the holiday season. Penske Automotive Arizona dealerships, as well as several others across the country, were honored to be a part of this great cause. Volkswagen South Coast also participated in a toy drive through the Boys & Girls Club of Central Orange Coast, an organization that mentors children with a goal of helping them to graduate high school and contribute positively to society. Mercedes-Benz of Warwick held a drive for non-perishable food items to donate to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. This organization seeks to fill the physical needs of hunger for the people of Rhode Island while raising awareness of hunger as a health issue.
Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Audi of Fairfield also participated in Toys for Tots as well as collected toys, coats, and canned goods for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission to be donated out to the hungry, homeless, and addicted of Fairfield, Connecticut.
Many other dealerships also participated in some capacity to help their local communities.
